ASARE DANQUAH JEFFERSON
FOUNDING MEMBER
A military nurse who started his education at Great Faith School and continued at Opoku Ware School all in Kumasi. He had his nursing training at the SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College (NMTC) in Kumasi. He held various positions such as SRC Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College (NMTC), Programs and Projects Officer for the Ashanti - Brong Ahafo Zone of the Ghana Nurses and Midwives Trainees Association (GNMTA), National Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Ghana Nurses and Midwives Trainees Association and the first vice president of the West African Nursing Students Association (WANSA). He did his national service at Ejisu Government Hospital, thereafter started practicing at Konongo Government Hospital. Currently works at 37 military hospital in Accra and also pursuing a BSc in Nursing at the University of Ghana. AMEDE DELALI ABENA HADASSAH
FOUNDING MEMBER
A registered midwife who started her education at St Dominic’s Complex school in Koforidua, proceeded to new Juaben Senior High School then Evangelical Presbyterian Senior High School in Hohoe. Whilst in school, she held the position of the SRC General Secretary and also the Secretary for Programs and Projects for the Eastern Volta Zone of Ghana Nurses and Midwives Trainees Association (GNMTA). She did her National Service at Comboni Hospital, Sogakope in the Volta region. ADU-FOKUO DOUGLAS
FOUNDING MEMBER
A registered nurse who started off at Station Basic School in Kumasi then proceeded to Kumasi Technical institute and Collins Commercial School. After graduation he went to Nursing and Midwifery College, Kumasi for a Diploma in Registered General Nursing. He has held various positions such as; National Secretary for Programs and Projects of the Ghana Nurses and Midwives Trainees Association, General Secretary of West African Nursing Students Association (WANSA), facilitator for Adolescent and Reproductive Health, Ghana Health Service, Coordinator for Youth Determined Advocates (YDAC) of Promise Ghana and currently the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives association (GRNMA) Accra. He did his National Service at St Patrick’s Hospital, Offinso – Ashanti and completed at Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi. He is currently a staff nurse at the Adabraka Polyclinic. He also holds a BA. degree in Communication Studies with specialty in journalism from Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ). MATHIAS ANSAH
FOUNDING MEMBER
An enrolled nurse who started off at Aveyime Methodist School and proceeded to Aveyime - Battor Secondary Technical School. He had his first appointment as a teacher at New Baika D / A JHS in the Volta region. He then continued at Nursing and Midwifery College, Pantang where he studied to become an enrolled nurse. He held the position of the SRC vice president whilst in school. He currently works with Taifa polyclinic as an enrolled nurse.
